Graphite features an excellent high temperature resistance, electrical and thermal conductivity and chemical stability due to its unique structure. It is usually ground to obtain a superior performance.
Ultrafine graphite grinding produces a superfine graphite power whose particle size directly influences performance. Thus, the smaller the particle size, the better the graphite’s lubricity. Conductive particles are more closely linked to further improve graphite conductivity as the ultrafine graphite powder particle size is only a few micro-meters.
The mechanical grinding process for production of ultrafine graphite powders features a simple process, low production cost, and easy to carry out large scale production. We developed a bead mill without a shaft seal and screen to prevent problems caused by traditional grinding, ensuring a uniform particle size. Shown here are ultrafine graphite grinding results with the use of our grinding mills. It is clearly indicated that the ultrafine grinding process carried out by our equipment significantly reduced particle size and ensured a more uniform distribution.
